From the Cluster Mission Statement:
"Its role is to encourage information sharing and teamwork between member congregations so that they can better serve their congregations and the wider UU mission."
To what extent is this happening now, and what are ways this can be increased? I know in my gongregation, UUFGainesville, Cluster affairs and other congregations are barely on our radar scope. But I can think of several ways that this could change. Here is one:
> Each congregation has a local sister congregation that is of similar size and is facing similar challenges. The Governing Boards are in touch w/ each other and share regular correspondance. The respective committees from each congregation are in touch and swap their experiences and learnings.
