7TH ANNUAL ERICKSEN LECTURE at the UU Fellowship of Gainesville in Gainesville

“The Politics of Gender” is the topic Rev. Manish Mishra will address on Sunday, May 4 at 5 PM Rev. Mishra, minister of the St. Petersburg UU Church, advocated for the Largo City Manager who was fired for being transgendered. He will address the issue on the local, state, and national level. Rev. Mishra was a diplomat in the Clinton Administration before attending Harvard Divinity School.

Co-sponsored by the Florida Free Speech Forum and UUFG, this annual lecture on a timely social justice issue is held in honor of the late Stan Ericksen, a psychology professor with a lifelong dedication to fighting discrimination. The community and all NE Cluster UUs are invited. Join us May 4th at 5 PM A reception will follow.

Forum on Church Work called "As You Like It" at the UU Church of Brevard in West Melbourne

One and all are invited to air their trials and tribulations in doing church work. It is based upon the fundamental premise of our cluster’s existence that we meet to help each other through SHARED EXPERIENCES. It will be a lot of fun with more than a little humor.
